Production Peugeot RCZ R (pictured) revealed
Peugeot promised a more powerful RCZ – the RCZ R – at the Paris Motor Show last year, and subsequently confirmed it would arrive at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Now, with the FoS kicking off today with the Moving Motor Show, Peugeot has revealed photos of the production RCZ R – painted in sporty red – and given us some proper specs. As we already knew, the RCZ R makes use of the PSA/BMW 1.6 litre turbo petrol the regular RCZ already has, but in the R’s case Peugeot has managed to turn the wick up to 11 and delivered 270bhp.
Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series Coupe Track & Aerodynamic Pack - lots of photos
Mercedes-Benz revealed their latest Black Series car – the Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series Coupe – back in the Summer, complete with a rather frisky 6.2 litre V8 and a 0-60mph of just 4.0 seconds. We then saw on the floor at the Frankfurt Motor Show a C63 Black Series with the addition of a couple of Mercedes add-on packs – the Track Pack and Aerodynamic Pack – which introduced an even harder edge to Mercedes’ most bonkers C-Class. The Track Pack and Aerodynamic Pack are separate option for the C63 Black, but if you’re going to dig in your pocket for the C63 Black in the first place, why not go the whole hog?
SEAT Leon FR+ Supercopa
SEAT UK has launched a special edition Leon – the SEAT Leon FR+ Supercopa - with a new sporty look and extra features. Last year we got the SEAT Leon FR+ bolted on to the Leon range in the UK as a top of the range Leon aimed at extracting a bit more from Leon customers, 25 per cent of whom were already opting for the previous range topper, the Leon FR. That plan obviously worked as SEAT has now added yet another model above the FR+ in the guise of the FR+ Supercopa which offer a special edition styling kit for a sportier look.
